The Song for the Night: I know they’re not from NJ or St. Louis but BL’AST! was a band that definitely tried to do some interesting things in the punk scene in the 1980s. They’ve had a renaissance of sorts when Dave Grohl remixed and remastered their It’s In My Blood! album in 2013, titled Blood!. The original is something to check out. This the opening track from it, “Only Time Will Tell.” It’s got a sick instrumental before the song kicks in.
