The New Jersey Devils returned home for two nights amid a busy and rather eventful Thanksgiving week. David Sarch and I myself tried to make the most sense of it on this week’s episode of Talking Red, the Devils podcast that keeps it real. We bring up how odd it was seeing the Devils get shutout decisively to start the week and then proceed to score eleven goals in three games. We praise Keith Kinkaid for being a very good back up for this season. With the announcement of Vegas, we touch on the eventual expansion draft (my projections are here) as well as the Devils’ very flexible cap situation. We also talk about Pavel Zacha, long lines to get into the Prudential Center, Michael Cammalleri, and the Albany Devils/River Rats. David makes a bold prediction and provides a Steve Bernier reference.
Thanks go to David for having me on and thanks to all of the listeners that provided questions that we answered on this week’s episode.
