Welcome back to New Jersey Devils hockey that counts. David Sarch and I got together earlier this evening to discuss what the Devils have done in their first two games. Other than not winning, of course. We go over positives from the games (yes, positives). We talk about Miles Wood, Blake Speers, Taylor Hall, Kyle Quincey, Yohann Auvitu, and other players. We answer some of the questions David received on Twitter for this show. We also lament the new-for-this-season Devils’ physical season ticket format. We even look ahead at the next few games where David makes a bold prediction.
I thank David for having me on this episode of Talking Red and I thank Rob Vollman for appearing. You can view more details about his latest book, Stat Shot, at his site, Hockey Abstract.
The first two games are done, but the ways to listen to this show remain the same. You can get the show directly at the TR website. You can go to iTunes and/or Stitcher to download it. You can just stay right here and listen to a stream of it. No matter what you choose, this episode is 1:02:12 long and 28.47 MB large.
If you have any questions or comments about the show, you can leave them here or contact David on Twitter at @TalkingRed. Thank you for listening.
