It's been quite the year for Arizona sports. The Arizona Coyotes have performed admirably, boasting a 19-16-2 record, they sit second in the Pacific division and have exceeded the expectations of those who penciled them in as a surefire lottery team. Similarly to the Devils, the Coyotes have proved naysayers wrong and have been a difficult opponent for many around the league.
Beyond the Coyotes, and perhaps more importantly for national ratings, the Arizona Cardinals finished their season as the second seed in the NFC, thus hosting a playoff game against the winner of the Seattle Seahawks-Minnesota Vikings game. The Cardinals game will occur Saturday night and conflict directly with the timing of the Coyotes game, thus the Coyotes game, originally scheduled for 9 PM Eastern, will be moved up to 2 PM according to Tom Gulitti of The Record.
