The New Jersey Devils have recalled D Marc-Andre Gragnani and sent F Sergei Kalinin to the Albany Devils under emergency conditions, according to a tweet from the Devils earlier today.
A flu bug has been going around the Devils' locker room, which kept Kalinin out of last Saturday's game against Winnipeg. Both defensemen Adam Larsson and David Schlemko missed yesterday's practice in Pittsburgh due to illness, so it's likely that Gragnani was recalled in case one of them couldn't play tonight vs the Penguins.
Kalinin seems to be a paper transaction just so Devils can get an extra D here if Schlemko or Larsson can't play.

Either Larsson or Schlemko could be placed on IR to free up a roster spot for Gragnani. Bbecause of the upcoming All-Star Break, they would still be eligible to return for the matchup against the Rangers, the Devils' first game after the All-Star Game.
While Gragnani has only played 4 games with New Jersey, he has put up 15 assists and 6 PIM in 28 games with the Albany Devils in the AHL this season.
