Talking Red is a New Jersey Devils podcast.  In the interest of doing something a bit different, Talking Red is going to try out doing smaller, midweek shows about the team's history.  As the franchise was formed in the mid-1970s, moved to New Jersey in 1982, and has had loads of downs, ups, Stanley Cups and wins, and crushing losses since then, there's quite a lot of history to go through.  As such, David Sarch is trying this out and has Chris Wassel joining him.  The title, "A Look Back," is tentative. The schedule is tentative. The whole concept is, but the whole show started the same way.  For this first episode, David chose Claude Lemieux.  The Grate One is very much a cult hero within the organization, and he was instrumental in the team's playoff success in 1994 (see below video, anyone who scored against Dominik Hasek in that first round series achieved a fear of sorts even as wide open as he was) and 1995.

While it's a midweek special episode, the ways to listen to the show remains the same.  You can go to Talking Red and get and/or hear the show there. You can go to iTunes and/or Stitcher and download it with either of those services. You can even stay right here at this post and listen to a stream of it. No matter what you choose, this week's episode is 33:18 long and 15.24 MB large.

If you have any questions or comments about this midweek look back at Claude Lemieux, you can leave them here or contact David on Twitter at @TalkingRed.  Thank you for listening to this special episode.
