Alex Kerfoot had 2 assists and won 8/17 faceoffs against Boston University on Thursday. He followed that up with a goal, 1 shot, and won 8/17 faceoffs against Quinnipiac on Saturday.

Boston College had a back-to-back against Providence last weekend. Steve Santini had 2 assists, an even rating, 2 penalty minutes, and 2 shots during that time. Miles Wood had an assist, -2 rating, 6 shots, and lost his only faceoff attempt over the course of those 2 games. JD Dudek was held off the scoresheet and lost his only faceoff attempt on the weekend.

Brett Seney was a -1, with 2 shots, and won 6/9 faceoffs against Cornell on Friday. Unfortunately he suffered an upper body injury and missed Merrimack's next game. Hopefully this doesn't keep him sidelined too long given how much time he's already missed this season.

Joe Faust had an even rating with 7 shots over the course of 3 games for Adirondack last week. Ben Johnson remains sidelined with an injury. Ken Appleby won his only start last week by stopping 22 of 24 shots against South Carolina.

Prospect of the Week

With a goal, 3 assists, and 13 shots over the course of 3 games, Pavel Zacha is this week's Prospect of the Week. All of his were at even strength and primary as well. Zacha is currently on a 6 game point streak with 5 goals and 8 assists during that time. I look forward to seeing what he can accomplish playing with a fellow talented player in Travis Konecny the rest of the way.

ADevil of the Week

Mike Sislo had a fantastic week with 3 goals, 3 assists, and 11 shots over the course of 3 games for Albany, thus he is the clear choice for this week's ADevil of the Week honors. Sislo was also named AHL Player of the Week yesterday by the league. That's a pretty solid way to respond to his demotion from the NHL. Sislo is currently tied for 3rd in the AHL with 16 goals and leads the ADevils in Pts/GP (0.94), Goals Created (12.06), and Goals Created per Game (0.39). According to Quant Hockey, Sislo is above the 95th percentile in Pts/GP and G/GP for AHL players. You can check out Sislo's highlights from this past week on the AHL website.
