This afternoon the Devils released their new promotional schedule and informational about single-game season tickets. Included in the announcement were dates relating to Hockey Fights Cancer, Firefighter Appreciation Night and Police Appreciation Night. Along with the promotions, the Devils also announced that single game tickets go on sale September 1st at 10 A.M
Promotional Dates
I know everyone is wondering the million dollar question: When do we get our free bobble-heads? This year the Devils will feature three bobble head giveaways. The first will be Adam Henrique's on December 1st against the Colorado Avalanche. In addition to getting your very own bobble head you're more than likely to see a great goalie battle between Cory Schneider and Semyon Varlamov. The next bobble head will be Mike Cammalleri's on January 4th vs. the Philadelphia Flyers. If you're one of the first 10,000 fans you'll get to see an intense rivalry along with you're bobble head of number thirteen. Last, but certainly not least will be Cory Schneider's bobble head night which coincides with Kid's Day on February 6th for a day game against the Washington Capitals.
In addition to bobble heads, the opening night game against Winnipeg will serve, as usual, as the Fan Fest with great giveaways and promotions. The same month will feature Hockey Fights Cancer night in order to raise and spread awareness. The final October promotion is Halloween Night. It's a great time for the kids to come in costume and trick-or-treat at the arena.
In November for Military Appreciation Night, the first 10,000 fans will receive a camo Devils cap. Be sure to check this game out as you may even see the new Assistant GM of the St. Louis Blues, Martin Brodeur. December follows the same spirit and will host Firefighter Appreciation Night. The final appreciation night will occur March 25th and celebrate the Police throughout the game.
Retro Nights
As usual, the Devils will wear their retro jerseys during the St. Patrick's day game against the Minnesota Wild. In addition to the retro game, the team will sport their retro jersey on February 16th against the Flyers. These will be the only two opportunities to see the team in their classic red, green and white for the season.
