I have returned to the New Jersey Devils podcast, Talking Red, for this week's episode.  As you would expect, David Sarch and I talked about a great variety of topics.  Some of the things I said may be actually worth rememebering; but that's up to you.  This week's show discusses the hiring of John Hynes and the three things he wants the Devils to be, whether Scott Stevens should return as an assistant coach, and where the minor league team could go (I think they'll stay in Albany).  As the NHL Draft is coming closer, we do spend quite a bit of time on that regarding whether the Devils should try to trade up or down and I reveal who'd I want a #6 given what could happen from #1 - #5.  Of course, the offseason also has free agency and while it's a weak class, we do spend some time on that as well as the potential for offer sheets.  There's a lot to talk about and so David and I talked about it.
