Connor Chatham had a productive week for Flint starting it off with a goal, assist, and 6 shot effort against Saginaw on Wednesday. He followed that up with a goal against Sudbury on Saturday before being held off the scoresheet on Sunday against North Bay. He's heated up a bit lately after a slow start as he now has 3 goals and 6 assists over his last 7 games. Chatham is currently tied for 3rd on Flint in points.
Pavel Zacha had just a goal across 3 games for Sarnia last week but did manage 10 shots on goal during that time. His 2 shot game against Kingston on Sunday snapped an 11 game streak of 3+ shots per game. Josh Jacobs was held to just an assist across 3 games for Sarnia last week. That assist came in a game against Peterborough in which Jacobs managed 8 shots on goal. Overall, Zacha is still leading Sarnia in goals and points while being the only regular player above the point per game mark at this time. Jacobs is 3rd among Sarnia's defensemen in points.
Blake Speers appeared 3 times for the Soo last week and had a goal on Sunday against Kitchener. He managed 11 shots on goal across the 3 game stretch and his goal on Sunday snapped a 4 game point drought and 7 game goal drought. He's been getting his shots (3.08 SH/GP) but hasn't had much puck luck so far (6.49 SH%). His teammate, Colton White, enjoyed a productive week. He was held off the scoresheet against Niagara on Thursday but scored against Erie on Saturday night and then had a goal and an assist against Kitchener on Sunday. I also find it impressive that he is yet to take a minor penalty after 25 games of play this season. Overall, Speers leads the Greyhounds in assists and points. White leads the defensemen in goals, assists, and points.
Mackenzie Blackwood went 1-1 on the week for Barrie. He stopped 34 of 35 shots against Owen Sound on Thursday to pick up his 16th Quality Start of the season. He surrendered 5 goals on Saturday against Niagara but still made 37 saves. Blackwood is still atop the OHL leaderboard for goaltenders.

Ken Appleby made 2 starts for Adirondack last week. He won on Wednesday against Elmira, making 32 saves on 33 shots to earn his 8th quality start of the season. He lost a shootout decision against Elmira on Saturday, stopping 33 of 37 in regulation and 2 of 3 in the shootout.
Prospect of the Week
This week's honors go to Sault Ste. Marie defensemen, Colton White after he put up 2 goals, an assist, and 6 shots on the week and is yet to commit a minor penalty on the season. The top pairing defender has emerged as a leader on the Greyhounds blueline by playing in all situations. CHL Stats has his estimated Time On Ice at 28:06 on the season.
ADevil of the Week
With 2 goals and 2 assists after 3 games last week, Reid Boucher picks up this week's honors. He is currently on a 4 game point streak and seems to be enjoying the ice time that he's getting in Albany. He is 2nd on the team in goals, tied for 3rd in points, 3rd in primary points, has one of the higher shots per game rates which is encouraging. If he keep this up, he may very well end up earning another shot with the big club, but he's going to have to prove his consistency with Albany first.
