New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode #166

Preseason hockey has begun for the New Jersey Devils. David Sarch and John Fischer talk about the first game, tryouts, the future of fourth line, goalies, and so much more on this mid-week episode of Talking Red.

Hockey's back!  Preseason hockey to be technical about it.  The occasion of an actual game of hockey along with training camp was enough for David Sarch and I to get together to talk about the New Jersey Devils.  We go over the first game in length.  We focus on the tryouts, including Scott Gomez, who did not play, but not Renat Mamashev.  We rave about Michael Ryder and Reid Boucher.  We lament witnessing Mike Komisarek trying to play even in a preseason game.  We wonder if there's a future for the CBGB line.  All that and much more in this mid-week episode of the New Jersey Devils podcast Talking Red.

The methods for listening to Talking Red remain consistent.  You can go to the Talking Red website and get it from there. You can go to iTunes or Stitcher and find the show there. You can even stay here and listen to a stream of it. Whichever way you choose, this week's episode is 51:09 long and roughly 23.43 MB large.

I'd like to thank David for having me on this special mid-week show.  There's a lot of hockey ahead so expect more of this.  In the meantime, please leave your thoughts about this week's episode in the comments or tell Dave directly on Twitter: @TalkingRed.  Thank you for listening.
