This is the last episode of Talking Red for the 2013 offseason. The 2013-14 regular season begins for the New Jersey Devils on this Thursday on October 3. As you get excited, or "hype" as some of the youth of today would say, David Sarch and I have a new episode to help you along in the process. We talk about who could make the team among the forwards who would end up at the bottom six. We discuss the Krys Barch trade. We go over waivers. We make predictions we may or may not remember months from now. We even bring up Rock and Roll Part 2 and a new Devils app that is available for the iPhone/iPad but not yet for the Android.
We also have another interview. David got the chance to pick the brain of Timo Seppa of Hockey Prospectus about the Devils, the Metropolitan Division, and the Hockey Prospectus 2013-14. Full disclosure: Timo asked me to write the Devils part of this year's book, but only the words, I had no hand in the numbers. Still, my inclusion is yet one more reason for you to go and buy it either as a PDF or as an actual book. So please buy it.
Thanks to Timo for taking the time to appear and to answer our questions. Thanks to David for having me on the show again. And I thank you for listening throughout the offseason.
