Well, this past week sure has been interesting, hasn't it, my fellow New Jersey Devils fans?
There was an emergency episode, which shall be known as #122, on Thursday in reaction to one of the more stunning news that ever happened to this franchise. However, David Sarch nor I "retired" to get out of our current situations and so there's a new Talking Red only talking briefly about that and focusing more on what to do next. We also bring up Marek Zidlicky, Henrik Tallinder getting dumped to Buffalo, what to do with apparel with #17 on it, the number of defensemen, the contract Raman Hrabarenka that I doubted on the show but actually is real per Renaud Lavioe of RDS (my one and only thought: either the Devils really like him or someone on D in Albany could be getting moved), and so much more.
Most importantly, David had the privilege to talk to Kevin Woodley of In Goal Magazine again for the show. If you were around back in October, David talked extensively with Kevin about Martin Brodeur, his equipment, and insight into his technique among other aspects. This time, David and Kevin focus their attention on Cory Schneider, changes in equipment (related: Woodley talked with Schneider about them here), and his own form. Much of this week's show is this interview and that alone is worth your time. Thanks to Kevin Woodley for taking the time to be on TR again to talk Devils goaltending.
Thanks to David for having me on again. The usual methods to listening to Talking Red are still around; they're not leaving for St. Petersburg for massive amounts of money. You can go get the show directly at the TR website. You can go to iTunes or Stitcher and find the show there. You can even stay here and listen to a stream of it. Whichever way you choose, this week's show is 1:24:28 long and 19.34 MB large.
Please leave any comments, questions, and suggestions about this week's show in the comments here, at the TR website, by email to TalkingRed at gmail dot com, or tweet them to @TalkingRed. Thank you for listening.
