New Jersey Devils vs. Pittsburgh Penguins: Gamethread #11

This is the gamethread for the February 11, 2013 game between the New Jersey Devils and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Users are free to discuss the Devils game as it happens in the comments.

The Time: 1:00 PM EST

The Broadcast: TV - MSG+, NHL-Network (US); Radio - 660 AM & 101.9 FM WFAN

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (6-1-3) vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins (8-3-0, SBN Blog: Pensburgh)

The Game Previews: My preview from earlier this morning is right here. Check out Pensburgh for Pittsburgh coverage on this network.

The Song for Today: I learned my lesson from last week. A game against Pittsburgh requires Don Caballero. At least it does for me. This is "Repeat Defender" from their second album, the math-rock classic 2. The Devils will probably need to repeat their defending quite a bit today.

Gameday Info: With the early start time and, well, the early travel time for me, there really isn't much to provide. So I'll just remind you that Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune reported yesterday that Kris Letang won't play and Rich Chere of NJ.com & the Star-Ledger reported yesterday that Dainius Zubrus won't play.

The Reminder of Rules: This is a place where you can comment about this game before, during, and after it's played before the recap is up. This is a place where we primarily discuss the Devils game. An odd mention of other NHL games is OK, but it shouldn't dominate discussion. All comments will be clean (read: no cursing), respectful of each other (read: no dissing), relevant to the game, and legal (read: no streams). Please also do not use any pictures without titles. I'm not opposed to all pictures, but they do slow down the Gamethread for others. For those who don't know, titles go in the small box above the comment box. Users who don't want to see/load the picture can click on the title to make it go away. Please be considerate for others and use titles.

I will (attempt) to get to today's game and sit in my usual spot in Section 1, Row 16, Seat 5. I'll also try to provide occasional commentary here, but it'll mostly be through @InLouWeTrust at times during the game. Go Devils!
