Game Night Info: A number of changes for the New Jersey Devils tonight. First, Tom Gulitti confirmed at Fire & Ice that Cory Schneider will start tonight. He's been activated from injured reserve and Keith Kinkaid was returned to Albany. Second, Gulitti also reported that defenseman Jon Merrill was called up. Making space for him on the roster was Peter Harrold, who was placed on injured reserve retroactive to last week. I doubt the Devils would call up a defender if they weren't going to play him so expect someone to sit. Should he play, it will be Merrill's NHL regular season debut. Third, Gulitti reported after last night's game that Travis Zajac and Patrik Elias did not make the trip to Minnesota. That's just bad news as anyone who saw last night's game would tell you.
