New Jersey Devils at Boston Bruins: Gamethread #10

New, comments

The New Jersey Devils will have this one last game this month to get a road win, but the hot Boston Bruins will make it very difficult. All the same, users can talk about the effort before, during, and after the game until the recap is up.

The Time: 7:00 PM EDT

The Broadcast: TV - MSG+2; Radio - 660 AM & 101.9 FM WFAN

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (1-5-4) at the Boston Bruins (7-2-0; SBN Blog:Stanley Cup of Chowder)

The Previews: My preview from this morning is right here. For the opposition's side, ecozens at Stanley Cup of Chowder has this preview.

The Song for Tonight: For no particular reason, this is "Bone Crackin' Fever" by Forced Entry. If you're into thrash metal, you won't be disappointed by the whole As Above, So Below album.

The Game Night Info: Tom Gulitti reported earlier this morning at Fire & Ice that Cory Schneider has a lower body injury. That would certainly further the reasoning behind Martin Brodeur starting this game. Keith Kinkaid has been called up as a back-up. Other than that, there are no other roster changes. Within the lineup, Travis Zajac and Adam Henrique switch wingers from the last game. Lastly, from the same report, Bryce Salvador should be available for Tuesday's game so if you like the defense as it is, then embrace this game because it'll change later. I don't think there are any changes for the Bruins from the last game. Fluto Shinzawa did confirm in this tweet that Tuukka Rask will start tonight, which should surprise nobody.

The Reminder of Rules: This is a place where you can (and should) comment about this game before, during, and after it's played, until the recap is up. This is a place where we primarily discuss the Devils game. An odd mention of other NHL games is OK, but it shouldn't dominate discussion. All comments will be clean, respectful of each other, relevant to the game, and legal (read: no streams). Please refrain from super-big pictures and/or .GIFs to keep the gamethread moving for everyone. If you're going to include a some sort of picture in your comment, please add a title so anyone who wishes to can collapse it. Surely, this game won't be nearly as bad as the football game I went to earlier, so: Go Devils!
