Game #2 Scoring Chances Devils vs Flyers

A scoring chance report, broken down by player and situation for Game #2 of the 2013 NHL season. NJ Devils vs Philadelphia Flyers.

Bruce Bennett

Over the next several days, I will be posting scoring chance reports for games #1 - #4 of the regular season as I catch up with all of the data now that I have a template in place. Here is a report from the home opener vs Philadelphia.

While things started out slowly for the Devils, they really took charge in the second and third periods in terms of scoring chances. They also took full advantage of special teams play, creating chances up one man, up two men, and short handed.

Section 1 - List of Scoring Chances

The name listed under Note is the person who had the scoring chances. P1-P6 are the players on the ice for the Devils at the time of the event. Opp1 - Opp6 are the players on the ice for the Flyers at the time of the event. Strength indicates how many skaters on the ice for each team at the time.
