New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode 71 - Down but Not Out

The New Jersey Devils began their series with the Los Angeles Kings for the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals in this past week. As we all know now, it didn't go well. Game 1 was a poor effort that resulted in a 2-1 overtime loss. Game 2 was a much better effort that also resulted in a 2-1 overtime loss. Before the Devils try to get back into this series on Monday in Game 3, David Sarch and myself got together to discuss the last two games on this episode of Talking Red. We talked about how the team performed, the feelings involved with both games, and what changes we'd make going forward among other relevant topics.

I have to thank David for having me on again on Talking Red to talk Devils hockey and as I said at the end of the episode, I hope we're doing another show next week. Until then, please listen to this show; here's the direct link to the show on the TR website. You can also get it on iTunes and Stitcher, too. It's shorter and smaller than usual: 12.33 MB large and 26:56 long. You can also listen to a stream of it after the jump of this very post. You can give us your comments and questions to talkingred at gmail dot com, tweet them to @TalkingRed, or just leave them here in the comments of this post. Here's David's description of this episode:

On this week's episode, David and John talk about the Stanley Cup Finals and the frustration and heart break it's been so far. After the group therapy session ends, they discuss what they would like to see the team do to turn it around on the road.

Thanks for listening.
