This week's Talking Red was not recorded on a Sunday, but on a Tuesday evening for the first time in a rather long time. All the same, there's a brand new episode of the New Jersey Devils podcast as David Sarch and I go over what the Devils did in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, the impending free agents on the Devils not named Zach Parise like Alexei Ponikarovsky and Petr Sykora, the loss of Adam Oates and the potential loss of Larry Robinson (see here for why), and a few recent trades within the Atlantic Division. It's something to listen to as you get through this day and try to keep calm and carry on as free agent frenzy approaches.
Additionally, I'd like to highlight that Talking Red now has a brand new website. It's sleeker than ever, it allows you to make comments directly on the site, and it'll have additional non-podcast content in the coming weeks. You can also listen to and/or download this week's episode there. Of course, you can also still find the show at iTunes, Stitcher, and right here with a stream after the jump. This week's show is 42:17 long and 19.36 MB large. Thanks to David for having me on the show again. Here's David's description from the new TR website:
A bit late but we are back for another episode. On this week's episode, David is joined by John from In Lou We Trust. They recap the 2012 Entry Draft and make the case why the Devils may have to resign Petr Sykora. After they talk about Adam Oates leaving for Washington and how big a loss Larry Robinson may be if he decides to retire.
Please feel free to leave any comments or questions about this week's episode in the comments to this post in addition to hitting up the Talking Red email (talkingred at gmail dot com) or twitter (@TalkingRed). Thanks for listening.
