New Jersey Devils Podcast Talking Red: Episode 73 - Season Recap & Looking Ahead

On this week's episode of Talking Red, a New Jersey Devils podcast, David Sarch, Todd Cordell of HockeyBuzz and myself wrap up a very successful 2011-12 regular season and 2012 playoff run. While it didn't end with the Stanley Cup, they at least got to the finals and we're all quite pleased with that since none of us expected it. We talk about our favorite moments, what was disappointing, and other thoughts from the season. As with the team, we also discussed what's to come in the offseason from what kind of player the Devils should draft and what the team should do with free agency coming up as there are many free agents.

Thanks to David for having me on Talking Red yet again as well as throughout the season. This episode is 43:27 long and 19.89 MB large. You can download it directly from the Talking Red website, get it at iTunes and Stitcher, or continue on after the jump to listen to a stream of this week's show. Here's David's description of this week's episode:

On this week's episode, David is joined by John and Todd Cordell from HockeyBuzz and they recap the year that was for the New Jersey Devils. Although the season ended not how the team wanted it to, there were still a lot of high points along the way. They also look ahead to the draft and free agency. They then try and figure out the worth of players like Zach Parise, Bryce Salvador and Mark Fayne (financially speaking) and what the Devils should look for in the draft.

Thanks for listening.
