A Song for Tonight: You know what ails a winless streak? Funk. You might as well have something to groove to given the recent lack of results. Of course, that means more from Plainfield's own Funkmaster Supreme George Clinton. From his first solo effort, 1982's Computer Games, here's the classic: "Loopzilla." Don't touch that radio.
Gameday Info: Capitals defenseman
Adrian Keith Aucoin is now a father and he is ready to play tonight according to this article by Rich Campbell of the Washington Times. Washington will start Michal Neuvirth for the fourth straight game as reported earlier this morning by Katie Carrera of the Washington Post. She also reported that Mike Knuble, Roman Hamrlik, and John Erskine are likely to be scratched. As for the Devils, Johan Hedberg will get the start in net. and beyond that, it's unknown whether there will be any other changes in the lineup. 6:01 Update: Tom Gulitti just reported at Fire & Ice that Alexei Ponikarovsky will not play due to a right leg injury. Matt Taormina will be in the lineup and the Devils will use seven defensemen.
As usual, you can use the comments in this post to discuss tonight's game before, during, and after it happens until the recap is up. Please remember the rules at all times. Namely: keep your comments clean, keep them on topic (read: don't snipe at each other - there's a game to discuss), and keep them legal (read: nothing about illegal streams - no links, no discussion, no requests). I'll provide the occasional comment here as well as a tweet here and there at @InLouWeTrust. Go Devils!
