The Time: 7:00 PM EDT

The Broadcast: TV - MSG+2; Radio - 660 AM WFAN

The Game: The New Jersey Devils (34-20-4) at the Toronto Maple Leafs (29-24-6)

The Previews: My preview from far earlier this morning is right here. For the opposition's perspective and snark, please visit Pension Plan Puppets. They'll greet you kindly if you say something negative about Ottawa or Montreal.

A Song for Tonight: The Wrens are an independent band from New Jersey who released a very well received album in 2003 entitled The Meadowlands. It took a while to gether there, but the results speak for themselves. Some still regard it as one of top albums of its genre from the last decade. Given the productive nature of indie rock (there's always something new, it seems like), that says something about the quality. It's hard to pick one so here's just one at random: "Hopeless."

Gameday Info: Bryce Salvador, Anton Volchenkov, and Kurtis Foster didn't participate in Monday's practice, but all three skated this morning according to Tom Gulitti. However, Gulitti later reported that Foster doesn't think his back is ready yet, so he won't play tonight. Peter Harrold will take his spot in the lineup as he did in Sunday's game Montreal. The living legend that is James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail reported that Colby Armstrong and Mike Komisarek will sit out tonight's game. In that same post, Mirtle also has the projected lines for the Maple Leafs; Joffery Lupul and Phil Kessel will line up together on a very threatening first line.

As usual, you can use the comments in this post to discuss tonight's game before, during, and after it happens until the recap is up. Please remember the rules at all times. Namely: keep your comments clean, keep them on topic (read: don't snipe at each other - there's a game to discuss), and keep them legal (read: nothing about illegal streams - no links, no discussion, no requests). Go Devils!
