On Sunday, David Sarch, Tom, and myself got together to discuss a short and successful week in New Jersey Devils hockey for Talking Red. Two wins, two different performances, and many more than two points were made about each game. On Monday morning, David and I had the honor and privilege to interview New Jersey Devils legendary defenseman and current broadcast analyst on MSG (pre-game, intermission, post-game) and NHL Live contributor, Ken Daneyko. The interview is split up into two parts: this first part focuses what Daneyko thinks of the team so far.
With the usual discussion and the first part of the Daneyko interview, this week's episode is 58:49 long and 53.84 MB large. You can find Talking Red either directly at the TR website, on iTunes, on Stitcher, or you can listen to a stream of this week's episode after the jump. Here's David's description:
On this week's episode, David, John and Tom discuss all things Devils including wins against Buffalo and Anaheim. Later in the episode, David and John have the pleasure of interviewing Devils legend Ken Daneyko. The first half of the interview is featured in this week's episode, which includes discussion on the current team. They focus on the play of Ilya Kovalchuk, Adam Larsson, "energy players," and the trade deadline.
Special thanks to Ken Daneyko for taking the time for our questions and his in-depth answers. David for running the show and for having me on. You can your comments and questions to talkingred at gmail dot com, tweet them to @TalkingRed, or just leave them here in the comments of this post. After the jump is a stream of this week's episode:
