Individual Notes

Stefan Matteau- Matteau's 3 point week is a bit deceptive, seeing as he scored all three points in one game. Regardless, the fact that he continues to score is an encouraging sign. While he did put up 9 PIMs this week (with 7 coming in one game), several recaps and reports from those games indicate that Matteau is throwing his weight around effectively and not recklessly.

Individual Notes

Reid Boucher- Boucher's ridiculous November continues with another three goals this week. He has 7 goals in 8 games in November. He's tied for the team lead in goals with Alex Galchenyuk. So essentially he's been amazing.

Ben Johnson- Todd Cordell mentioned that he saw Ben Johnson in action against the Colts in his most recent blog. Cordell said some nice things about him, calling him impressive. The good news is that it helps further prove the point that Johnson's struggles don't have anything to do with his talent, but rather that the Spitfires are an awful team.

Ben Thomson- Thomson had 11 PIMs through his first 13 games. In the last 9 games, he's recorded 20 PIMs.

Individual Notes

Graham Black- Black played in the Subway Series last week for the WHL and while he didn't put up any points, he did have a decent game in a limited role.

Reece Scarlett- Scarlett continues to have an awful November. He has one point in seven games and is a -8 in those games. Considering that Scarlett's biggest strength is his offensive game, this is not very encouraging.

Damon Severson- The bad- Severson's point-less streak has reached 9 games. The good- he still has more goals than Scott Gomez.

Devils Junior Prospect of the Week- Reid Boucher

Boucher is on another level right now, as he continues to do what he does best- score goals. If he continues this strong performance he could find himself representing America in the World Junior Championships. Boucher takes home the DJPotW honours this week.

Feel free to discuss the Devils prospects here. Thanks for reading.
