After a week's delay, the New Jersey Devils podcast Talking Red has returned with a new episode. While not much has happened in the realm of the NHL, David Sarch and myself managed to talk about what did happen involving the Devils from the last two weeks. We touch on Ilya Kovalchuk dominating the KHL. We discuss why Albany is having so much trouble scoring goals. We mention that Jay Leach isn't that good at defending. We go over David Clarkson leaving Austria and returning home. We advise a listener on who they should put on the back of their next jersey. I even get the chance to promote the "Best of" ILWT list I'm putting together in part to commemorate five years of In Lou We Trust on SB Nation.
Just as importantly, we open the show noting that there are still thousands who need relief in this area after Hurricane Sandy. As I noted on the show, there are plenty of organizations you can donate to. Here's a short list of them that I posted up here a few days ago.
Thanks to David for having me on again. As usual, you can get the latest episodes of Talking Red on iTunes or Stitcher. You can also get directly at the Talking Red website. Lastly, you can listen to a stream of this episode right here in this very post. This week's show is 12.1 MB large and 26:25 long.
Please leave your questions for future shows and comments about this show in this post or at the TR website. Thank you for listening.
