It was not the most eventful week for New Jersey prospects on the college level. No points were scored, but almost everyone spent some time in the penalty box. Check it out below with requested shot and +/- totals added.

I have no new update on Merrill. This is his third week out, so hopefully he is about halfway through his recovery.
Coleman was kept off the scoresheet for the first time this season. In two games against Michigan he had 7 shots. Miami went 1-1 against the University of Michigan.
Curtis Gedig did not play this weekend. According to his Twitter it seems as though he was injured but feels that he is ready to play again. Hopefully we will see him back in action this weekend.
In the CCHA, Ohio State is currently ranked second with Miami, and Michigan ranked sixth and seventh.

Blake Pietila was held without a point this weekend. He had six shots in two games. He also got a two minute penalty for high sticking at the end of the first period on Saturday. Michigan Tech lost both games against Denver.
UND went 1-1 this weekend against Alaska Anchorage, again. Rodwell seemed to do more on the ice than in recent weeks with five shots and a penalty for slashing, but he has yet to get a point this season.
Helgeson has yet to get a point this season, but he was a positive player for the third week straight. He also received two minutes for roughing during the third period on Friday night. The Gophers got a win and a tie against Canisius and the US Under-18 team, respectively.
Joe Faust was held off the score sheet again. He got two minutes for boarding and was a +1 on the weekend helping the Badgers get a win and a tie against Minnesota Deluth.
In the WCHA, UND, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan Tech are ranked fourth through seventh respectively.

Helgeson is the standout for me this week. The Gophers are 5-1-1 and he is a staple in their defense on the ice and a leader in the locker room. His roughing penalty this week was for a cross-check alone in the corner, but he delivered many more blows during the games this weekend.
Feel free to discuss the college prospects below.
