Earlier today, David Sarch, Tom Stivali, and Steve Palumbo got together to discuss the recent week in New Jersey Devils hockey for this week's episode of Talking Red. That's usual and takes up the first half of this week's episode. The second half is an interview David and Tom conducted with former New Jersey Devil, Bobby Holik. Holik has always spoke his mind whether you liked it or not and he continues to do so at his new site: Holik on Hockey. He took some time out of his busy schedule to answer some questions for this very show.
The whole episode is 1:04:33 long and 59.09 MB large and you can get it directly here at the TR website or elsewhere where fine podcasts are stored (iTunes, Stitcher). Here's David's description:
On this week's episode David is joined by Tom and rookie Steve Palumbo. They talk about the three games, how poor the defense was, the injury to Henrik Tallinder, the trade for Alexei Ponikarovsky and what it means for Travis Zajac, Jacob Josefson and Mattias Tedenby. David Clarkson is awarded another David Clarkson fall of the week and special mention for Sykora and Elias for working it out. The second half of the episode is an interview with Bobby Holik. Bobby discusses his website, what it was like playing for Jacques Lemaire, Ilya Kovalchuk, the Zach Parise contract situation and so much more!
I'd like to thank Bobby Holik for taking the time out of his schedule to talk hockey for TR. You can have your say as usual: you can email your comments and questions to talkingred at gmail dot com, tweet them to @TalkingRed, or just leave them here in the comments of this post. After the jump is a stream of this week's show:
Thank you for listening.
