The Previews: My preview from earlier this morning is right here. For the opposition's take on this game, please check out this preview at Stanley Cup of Chowder.
Gameday Info: Earlier today, Tom Gulitti confirmed at Fire & Ice that Martin Brodeur will start tonight; and that Jacques Lemaire might make one change to the lineup. No, there's no specifics as to what that would be. I would think it's decision between playing Rod Pelley or Adam Mair on the fourth line, but I'm just guessing. I could be wrong. According to Fluto Shinzawa's preview at Boston.com, Tim Thomas is expected to start and Daniel Paille is projected to sit for the no-longer-suspended Brad Marchand. This means Marchand would line up with Shawn Thornton and the son of Colin Campbell (who sends emails like this), Gregory. Of course, as Shinzawa noted, it's a projected lineup - it is subject to change.
A Song for Tonight: No, they aren't from Boston but Massachusetts-based metal band Extreme had a big hit in the early 1990s called "More Than Words." Here's a better (in terms of awesome guitar work) song by them: "Play With Me"" from their self-titled debut album.
Want to Discuss Other Games?: Don't do it here. This is the Gamethread for tonight's Devils-Bruins game. You can talk about other games in the NHL or other leagues in the comments here in this FanShot.
Please use this Gamethread to discuss what's going on in tonight's game between the Bruins and the Devils. As always, please keep your comments clean, relevant, and legal. If you want to be negative; fine, but do be rational as nobody needs any nonsense from anyone. Go Devils!
