The Time: 7:00 PM EST
The Broadcast: TV - MSG(HD); Radio - 660 AM WFAN
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (31-32-4) vs. the New York Islanders (27-32-10)
The Previews: My preview from this morning is right here. For the other side, here's Dominik's preview at Lighthouse Hockey.
Gameday Info: Tom Gulitti confirmed that Martin Brodeur will be starting again tonight; and that Adam Mair will be back in the lineup. It's not known for who, but I would guess Rod Pelley likely sits this one out. I doubt any of the youngsters or top 6 forwards sit. Unless Lemaire's really displeased with David Clarkson, then Pelley's the odd man out. As for the Islanders, Katie Strang of Newsday tweeted that Al Montoya will be starting tonight - the second half of the Isles' back-to-back.
A Song For Tonight: One of Long Island's most famous exports is Billy Joel. You may know him as a guy who once drove into a house, but he wrote a whole bunch of memorable songs. Here's one from the late 1970s: "The Stranger."
Want to Discuss Other Games?: Don't do it here. Do it in the comments to this FanPost.
Please use this Gamethread to discuss what's going on in tonight's game between the Islanders and the Devils. Not other games. As always, please keep your comments clean, relevant (this means "on topic" for those of you who don't know what "relevant" means), and legal. If you want to be negative; fine, but do be rational as nobody needs any nonsense from anyone. Go Devils!
