The Time: 7:30 PM EST
The Broadcast: TV - MSG+(HD); Radio - 660 AM WFAN
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (26-30-4) at the Tampa Bay Lightning (35-18-7)
The Previews: My preview from earlier this morning is right here. For the Tampa Bay side of this game, John Fontana has this preview at Raw Charge.
Gameday Info: Damien Cristodero of the St. Peterburg Times reported that Mike Smith cleared re-entry waivers and will back up Dwayne Roloson tonight for the Lightning. Based on Tom Gulitti's report from the Devils' skate this morning at Fire & Ice, Gulitti figures that Jacob Josefson might be back in the lineup. I hope he isn't, but if he is, he'll probably replace Adam Mair, since he sat the last time Josefson played. Mark it as gametime decision.
Update: Gulitti confirmed on Twitter that Mair and Mark Fraser are scratches. Insert disapproving Marge Simpson-ian mutter here.
A Song for Tonight: Given it's another game against a Florida-based team, here's a track by one of the best bands to have ever come out of Florida. This is "Flattening of Emotions," the first track off of Death's Human album.
Please use this Gamethread to discuss what's going on in tonight's game between the Lightning and the Devils. As always, please keep your comments clean, relevant (this means "on topic" for those of you who don't know what "relevant" means), and legal. If you want to be negative; fine, but do be rational as nobody needs any nonsense from anyone. Go Devils!
