Gameday Info: Henrik Tallinder skated this morning but he will not play this evening according to this morning post by Tom Gulitti. As a result, Matt Taormina will play tonight as Alexander Urbom will be scratched for the returning Adam Larsson. Also: Gulitti reported that Ryan Carter will also not play tonight. He wasn't suspended by the league and it isn't clear why he isn't playing. With Carter out, that means a fourth line of Eric Boulton, Tim Sestito, and Cam Janssen. I'm wincing already at the thought of it. As for Buffalo, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News pointed out that the team has 7 PPGs in their last 5 games. That's just one more reason for the Devils to stay disciplined. John Vogl has the forward line numbers from Buffalo's morning skater on his Twitter account.
