The Time: 8:00 PM EST
The Broadcast: TV - MSG; Radio - 660 AM WFAN
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils(4-3-1) at the Dallas Stars (7-3-0)
The Previews: My preview from way earlier this morning is right here. For the opposition's side, Brad Gardner has this Stars-based preview over at Defending Big D.
A Song for the Night: Pantera was formed closed to Dallas, Texas. Maybe Arlington? They'll do. This is the title track from the album "Cowboys From Hell." It'll do. (So would Domination, come to think of it.)
Gameday Info: According to Rich Chere, the Devils have made some changes based on this morning's skate. David Clarkson and Nick Palmieri have switched spots in the lineup. Yep, we could see Zach Parise, Ilya Kovalchuk, and Clarkson on the same line. I'm not sure how to feel about that. Also: Rod Pelley, Eric Boulton, and Mark Fraser will be scratched for the Devils.
As for the Stars, Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reported this morning that Krys Barch and Tom Wandell will be in Dallas' lineup and Steve Ott is also expected to play. Heika also guessed Adam Pardy will replace Mark Fristic on defense, so look for that as well. The starting goaltenders will be Kari Lehtonen and Johan Hedberg.
