The Time: 7:00 PM EST
The Broadcast: TV - MSG(HD); Radio - 660 AM WFAN
The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (10-27-2) vs. the Philadelphia Flyers (24-10-5)
The Previews: My preview from way early this morning is here. For a Flyers' perspective, check out Broad Street Hockey and something will be there eventually.
Gameday Info: According to Tom Gulitti, Jacques Lemaire may make a lineup change before tonight's game but he wasn't sure earlier today. Dainius Zubrus is still out, Johan Hedberg is still the starter, and apparently the lines from yesterday's practice may be a "go." From the same post, Gulitti confirmed the Flyers have called up defenseman Danny Syvret. It's unclear if he'll play though, according to this post by Stephen Whyno of Philly Sports Daily. Kyle Scott of Philly Sports Daily reports that Brian Boucher would be in net tonight.
A Penultimate Reminder that the Devils Supporters Group is Back on 1/9 against Tampa Bay: They were granted section 107 and they sold it out. They have expanded discounted sales to section 106 for this coming Sunday's game against the Lightning. If you are a Devils fan that wants to stand and yell for New Jersey and you got $20, go get a ticket through this link (use the code: devils) and don't delay. The offer ends in 3 days.
Another Note: There's apparently another group at the Rock intended to bring the noise, but it's (I think) by some of the Empire Supporters Club, the biggest and loudest NY Red Bulls Supporters Group. I would have passed some information about that - if anyone told me. Alas, someone familiar with the South Ward going to bringing the thunder. Good luck, ESC.
A Song for Tonight: I had a quite few good ideas on paper, but ultimately failed to finish them. That seems strangely appropriate for tonight. Ah, well. So here's a song by NoMeanNo: "Tired of Waiting," which is also strangely appropriate for tonight. Hm.
Please use this Gamethread to discuss what's going on in this game. Feel free to note a score, but do focus on the Devils-Wild game. As always, please keep your comments clean, relevant, and legal. If you want to be negative; fine, but do be rational as nobody needs any nonsense from anyone. Most importantly: Let's go, Devils.
