New Jersey Devils vs Philadelphia Flyers - Preseason GameThread 4

The Time: 7 PM EDT

The Broadcast: There is coverage - but it's online only. According to Tom Gulitti, the Flyers' official website will be streaming video of the game and WFAN.com will provide streaming online radio coverage.

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (0-0-3) vs. the Philadelphia Flyers (3-0-1)

The Previews: Here's my preview of tonight's game from earlier this morning. Broad Street Hockey is a place for Flyers coverage, so go there for that.

Gameday Info: The Devils actually sent more than just 7 players down to Albany. Four more to be precise. According to Gulitti, Michael Swift, David McIntyre, Tyler Eckford (!), and Vladimir Zharkov (!!) were also moved down today. While Lou says he expects a few to come back, they won't be in tonight. I wanted to see Eckford get a game, so much for that happening. The morning skate lineup in Gulitti's post could very well be the Devils' lineup. Gulitti later confirmed part of that lineup. Mattias Tedenby will be skating with Jason Arnott and Jamie Langenbrunner at left wing; Brian Rolston will play to the left of Travis Zajac and Ilya Kovlachuk; and Jacob Josefson returns to action in between Dainius Zubrus and David Clarkson whilst Matthew Corrente will not be in the lineup. Of course, there could be late changes but so far it's another mix of vets and young players.

Please leave all thoughts, commentary, opinion, and reaction for tonight's game in the comments. If you're at the game, then you should know that you can comment if your phone can access In Lou We Trust. Please keep the comments clean, relevant, and legal. And remember that while the results of this game ultimately won't matter in less than two weeks, do stay on the right side, the red side, the Jersey side. Go Devils!
