The Time: 7:00 PM EST

The Broadcast: TV - MSG+(HD); Radio: 660 AM WFAN

The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils (5-11-2) at the Toronto Maple Leafs (6-8-3)

The Previews: My preview from way early this morning can be found right here. Over at Pension Plan Puppets, Skinnyfish wrote this preview breaking down both teams by position. He (she?) is confident in Jonas Gustavsson tonight. Fair enough.

Gameday Info: The Devils didn't have a morning skate, but Tom Gulitti confirmed that Brodeur would be starting for New Jersey. As for the Leafs, it seems from James Mirtle's guess at the lineup that Brett Lebda will be on the ice tonight. I note that because the comments in Skinnyfish's preview shows a lot of not-love for Lebda. Kevin suggested that the Devils should pounce whenever he's on the ice. I can get behind that kind of gameplanning.

A Song for Tonight: If someone sings the blues to feel better about them, then perhaps both the Devils and Leafs need some hard hitting funk to get out of their own respective funk? To that end, here's "Mas o Menos" by The Budos Band. Listen to it before the game, after the game, while driving around, whatever. It's a cool tune.

Please use this Gamethread to discuss what's going on in tonight's game. It's OK to mention other NHL scores, but keep the conversation mostly on the Devils-Leafs game tonight. As always, please keep your comments clean, relevant, and legal. If you want to be negative; fine, but be rational. Most importantly: Let's Go Devils!
