"We were fortunate that they [the defensemen],[were] available and they have size and strength, but also mobility," Lamoriello said. "We feel pretty good about today. It was a very, very productive day. We added depth at the blue line and also the three forwards that we got they all bring different dimensions."
Combined with what he said yesterday about Josefson, I think it's fair to say that Lou's pleased with who the Devils selected at the NHL Draft. (Aside: Chere has the rationale as to why no goalies were taken by New Jersey. Because I know someone will ask, here's your answer in advance!)
But right now I want to know is how you feel about the Devils' job at the 2009 NHL Draft? It's time for you to have your say! Yes, you can't properly judge a draft class until years later. But I want to know your gut reaction on how the Devils did at the 2009 NHL Draft - regardless of how much or how little you know about the selections. If you want to give a reason on why you feel what you feel, please leave a comment. All the same, please vote in this poll.
