Game #7 of 82 - Devils vs. Carolina Hurricanes

TV: MSG Plus (HD)

Radio: WFAN 660 AM

Preview: Here is Fischer's, and here is Harwood's from Canes Country.

Springsteen Saturdays: While typically, our game threads will feature a song to pump you up and make you think about the game tonight, Saturdays we will devote to our beloved Boss. Because we're all Devils fans here, how can we be more Jersey?

So for tonight, we'll use the classic "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight")

My tires were slashed and I almost crashed but the Lord had mercy.

My machine, she's a dud out stuck in the mud somewhere in the swamps of Jersey.

BONUS Song to Get You Pumped Up, but Also Make You Think Deeply About Tonight's Matchup: "Bank Job" by Barenaked Ladies. Do these lyrics make it any more obvious?

It was an upset, in two minutes flat.

We're back on the freeway, foot to the mat.

I can't understand it, we had it down pat.

It's very upsetting, can we leave it at that?

EDIT FROM FISCHER: Not to undercut Steve, but given that the Devils are playing the Carolina Hurricanes I am reminded of a legendary figure from the Carolinas. I am, of course, referring to Ric Flair. To that end, I offer an alternative song, a performance of Also Sprach Zarathustra. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
Join me in the comments. As Fischer is wan to remind you, keep the comments clean, you keep them on-topic (tangents OK, talking about the Devils/Hurricanes is OK, but I don't want to turn this into a Bruce Springsteen lovefest), and support the New Jersey Devils. Hold tight, baby.
